Not signed by Apple yet. macOS will refuse the first start: open System Settings, Privacy and Security, and allow it there, or right click the app and choose Open.

What it actually does

  1. Check

    Compares your installed client against the release manifest.

  2. Patch

    Downloads only the files that changed.

  3. Verify

    Checks every file's SHA-256 before it is used.

  4. Play

    Sets the realmlist and launches the client.

Works with any 1.12 server

Stonetavern is preset, but it is one entry in a list you control. Press + in the realm rail, give the server a name and its realmlist address, and the launcher writes realmlist.wtf and starts the client for that server. No manifest needed — without one it simply points your existing 1.12.1 install at the new realm.

For server operators

Your players can use it today, free, with nothing to set up on your side. Send them this:
