A quiet, kept Classic woodland at dusk — a cottage and an old tower among the trees

Classic · kept · gated raids

OG Vanilla

Elwynn

The game, kept.

Pure Classic Vanilla — a Normal PvE realm, faithful 1.12. Tuned where it was broken, changed nowhere else.

What stays

No resets. No seasons. No end date.

Nobody wipes this realm to start it over, and no season closes here to make room for a fresh one. The character you roll tonight is the same character in five years — same name, same bags, same friends list, only older and further up the hill.

Which is also why you cannot fall behind here: there is nothing to fall behind. The world does not move on without you. Come back after six months and Azeroth is where you left it, the level cap still 60, the ruleset still 1.12.

The first gate43 / 80 accounts at level 60The house climbs together. When 80 accounts hold a character at level 60, the first raids open 2 weeks later.

Two ways in

Which door is yours?

The same account, the same house rules, the same client. The difference is one thing: whether the world stays where it is, or moves.

The museum

Elwynn

The game, kept.

Vanilla, preserved. The cap is 60 from the first day and no phase ever moves it, so nothing you do here can fall behind.

  • Level cap 60, from the first day
  • Content stage 1.12, and it stays there
  • The realm has no ending — and no beginning to miss.

For the player who logs in on a Sunday evening and wants the world exactly where they left it.

You are standing here

The road

Barrens

The journey, together.

Classic, then The Burning Crusade, then Wrath of the Lich King. The cap is 30 today and lifts in steps, on the same day for everyone.

  • Level cap 30 today, and it lifts in steps
  • Content stage 1.5, and it moves
  • The road ends at 80 — and then the realm stays.

For the player who wants the climb, and wants to be climbing it at the same time as everyone else.

What it is

Vanilla, exactly as it was.

No remix, no custom content, no transmog or dungeon finder. The 1.12 game, run honestly: bugfixes where the original was broken, and nothing else touched. A museum you can live in.

Open since June 2026. The 1–60 climb is on now — Molten Core and Onyxia open 2 weeks after 80 accounts reach level 60. No invented dates; it opens when the realm gets there.

What this realm changes, and what it leaves alone.

All of it, on one page. Running today: 11. Set, but not yet picked up by the running server: 0. Not built: 1. Deliberately not done: 1. If something surprises you and it is not here, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

What was left alone

The point of this realm. Most of the list is things that were not touched.

  • livePatch 1.12, wholeThe finished Vanilla world, not an early stage. Level cap 60 from the first day.
  • liveRates are x1Experience, gold, drops and reputation exactly as they were set. Nothing is boosted.
  • liveNo layering, no shardingOne world. You meet the same people in the same places, which is most of what made it work.
  • liveNo transmog, no dungeon finder, no Vanilla plusNot planned. This realm is not the place for it.
  • liveA normal PvE realmNo forced world PvP. Type /pvp only if you want a fight. Battlegrounds and honor work as they did.
  • liveNo shopNothing is sold, there is no subscription tier and no supporter perk. No advantage is for sale at any price.

The deliberate exceptions

The few places where the original was changed on purpose.

  • liveCross faction chat, grouping and tradeThe one named exception to keeping 1.12 untouched. A realm this size cannot carry two separate populations.
  • liveCheap respecTalent resets stay capped low, so trying a build is not a punishment.
  • liveWorld corrections, and more of them every monthBroken quests, spawns and drops repaired against the original behaviour: 21 of them have a file behind them today, and that is a floor, not a total.
  • on purposeSoul shards do not stackThey stack in tens on Barrens. That was never carried over here, and it is listed so nobody has to discover it in their bags.

How the realm is run

Things you cannot see but should be able to check.

  • liveBackups run dailyTaken every night and kept, with the restore rehearsed rather than assumed.

One caveat, because leaving it out would be dishonest: those 21 are the corrections with a file behind them, nobody has ever compared this realm line by line against an untouched original, and anything you find that behaves differently and is not on this page is worth a ticket.

Realm record

The shape of the world.

Slow progression, normal rates, a PvE realm, and rules that protect the people who actually play.

Nothing is for sale
No shop, nothing ever sold, no Patreon, no "supporter" perks. No money ever touches the game — no advantage is for sale, at any price.
The museum realm stays Vanilla
Blizzlike, nothing boosted. No transmog, no LFG tool, no Vanilla+. One deliberate exception: Horde and Alliance share chat, groups and dungeons — a small community is one table, not two. Beyond that, only invisible bug-fixes and small account comfort.
AI gnomes watch, humans decide
Little AI gnomes keep an eye out for griefing, hacking and the like and report it. Every ban is then reviewed and issued by human hand, and can be appealed.
No hidden house rules
Rules and operational changes live on the site. If something changes, it is written down.

The road

From the Core to the necropolis.

The ruleset and the world are 1.12 from day one — no step on this road changes the game you are playing. What opens over time is access to the raids, and it opens by readiness rather than by calendar: the first ones 2 weeks after 80 accounts reach level 60, then roughly one chapter every two months, from Molten Core to Naxxramas. Then the road stays open.

Up next2 weeks after the gate is met — 80 accounts at level 60. The Mountain and the Broodmother open together.

When the last door on this road is open, nothing else happens. That is not an oversight, it is the whole idea: Elwynn was never going anywhere.

The doors ahead

We can write you when a door opens.

Elwynn does not move: Vanilla 1.12, permanently. What moves is which doors are open. The first raids open 2 weeks after the 80×60 gate is met — 80 accounts, each with a character at level 60. Pick the moment you want to hear about, and we write you once, when it happens.

One mail per moment, and every mail has a way out.

The honest part

Free, and staying that way.

Donations keep the lights on — they buy nothing in game, ever. Everything that matters here, you earn. And if you ever want the road instead of the museum, the door to Barrens is right next to this one.
