- Molten Core's lockout lasts 7 days on Stonetavern's Elwynn realm, measured from mangos.map_template.reset_delay for map 409. The server runs its daily reset check at 04:00 UTC (Instance.ResetTimeHour in the live mangosd.conf), so a lockout that started on day 0 clears on day 7 once that check runs. Molten Core is not open on Elwynn yet — it opens together with Onyxia's Lair in the Embers of the Mountain chapter, the stop after the current levelling chapter.
- Are raid lockouts per character, or shared across the whole raid?
- Per character. A 2026-07-13 core update restored the pre-patch-1.9 behaviour: lockouts are personal, not shared by the group that entered together (see the realm changelog, "Raid lockouts are personal again").
- How long do Vanilla WoW raid lockouts last?
- It varies by raid, not one number for all of them: Onyxia's Lair is 5 days; Zul'Gurub and Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj are 3 days; Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Ahn'Qiraj Temple and Naxxramas are all 7 days. These are the reset_delay values read from Elwynn's own live world database, not the generic figures often quoted for retail Vanilla.

- None yet. Elwynn's roadmap opens with The Climb — levelling, every raid door sealed — and the first raids, Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair, open in the next chapter once the realm's community gate (accounts at level 60) is met plus the fixed wait afterward. The full chapter order is on /timeline.
- What time do raids reset?
- The core runs its daily instance-reset check at 04:00 UTC (Instance.ResetTimeHour = 4 in the running mangosd.conf). That is the hour the check runs, not a guarantee every lockout ends at exactly that clock time — a lockout expires the number of days above after you entered, rounded to the next time the check fires.
