- Molten Core's lockout lasts 7 days on Stonetavern's Elwynn realm, measured from mangos.map_template.reset_delay for map 409. The server runs its daily reset check at 04:00 UTC (Instance.ResetTimeHour in the live mangosd.conf), so a lockout that started on day 0 clears on day 7 once that check runs. Molten Core is open on Elwynn.
- Are raid lockouts per character, or shared across the whole raid?
- Per character. A 2026-07-13 core update restored the pre-patch-1.9 behaviour: lockouts are personal, not shared by the group that entered together (see the realm changelog, "Raid lockouts are personal again").
- How long do Vanilla WoW raid lockouts last?
- It varies by raid, not one number for all of them: Onyxia's Lair is 5 days; Zul'Gurub and Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj are 3 days; Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Ahn'Qiraj Temple and Naxxramas are all 7 days. These are the reset_delay values read from Elwynn's own live world database, not the generic figures often quoted for retail Vanilla.

- The core runs its daily instance-reset check at 04:00 UTC (Instance.ResetTimeHour = 4 in the running mangosd.conf). That is the hour the check runs, not a guarantee every lockout ends at exactly that clock time — a lockout expires the number of days above after you entered, rounded to the next time the check fires.
